During the event the guest had the chance to not only network, but to watch a video on the history of Mesa, listen to a live band, and learn to line dance but they were also allowed to take photos where they dressed up in everything from western to golf to cubs gear! The photo area was a great hit, plus everyone who took a picture received a print. The four of us reg girls took a western photo! Food ranged from fried baloney sandwiches to pasta salad. For dessert our guest enjoyed the plethora of Krispy Kremes. The donut company donated 40 dozen donuts!!!!! Everything went smoothly through the night and when guest were leaving they were given a travel tote that was designed to be a toiletry bag. Those were a huge hit and ended the night on a high note. Overall by the end of the event we had around 300 guest.
It was great to see the Mesa business and community come to support the CVB. The Mayor even said a little speech on how the CVB is the city's "champion" for the continued support they offer the city and the tourist who travel here. It was great to see the event come together and know it turned out so well. The staff was pleased with how the event turn out a huge success despite their original ideas being larger and more grand. Below are some pictures to show you of the event!
